Beliefs

  1. We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God, without error in the original manuscripts; that the Bible is the final and supreme authority in faith and practice. (II Tim. 3:16-17II Pet. 1:20-21)
  2. We believe in one Eternal God, existing in three persons equally omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. ( 1:126Mat. 3:16-1728:19Jn. 10:3014:16)
  3. We believe that Jesus Christ, born of the virgin Mary, is truly God and truly man, that He lived a perfect life, and that He died as an atonement adequate for the sin of the world. He was raised from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of God where He is the only Mediator and High Priest of the believers. (Is. 7:14;  1:35I Pet. 2:24)
  4. We believe in the personal, bodily and imminent return of Jesus. The Church, which is His body, will be raptured to meet Him in the air before the tribulation and before He comes to establish His millennial kingdom. (I Thess. 4:13-18)
  5. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person; that He convicts men of sin; that He baptizes those who believe in the Savior ant the moment of their conversion; that He leads them into all truth; that He indwells believers to lead them in a victorious life over sin; that He seals them spiritual gifts, some of which were temporary, such as those of healing and speaking in tongues. (John 16:7-15 8:9I Cor. 2:9-146:19-1012:1-3013:8-1114:20-22Eph. 1:13-14)
  1. We believe that Satan is real and is person; that he is the enemy of God and men; that he is not all powerful; and that his final destiny is settled. (Job 1:6-7)
  2. We believe that man was created innocent, but that, by his voluntary act of sin, physical and spiritual death have been extended over all men. He is entirely incapable of saving himself, but by faith in the sacrifice of Christ, he can be saved and justified. ( 3:23-24Acts 13:38-39)
  3. We believe in the eternal security and well-being of the redeemed. ( 10:28-2917:24Rom. 8:1)
  4. We believe in the eternal punishment of the lost in the lake of fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels. ( 20:11-15)
  5. We believe that the Church, the body whose head is Christ, was formed on the of Pentecost and is made up of all believers from that day until the return of Christ in the air. This Church, as the bride of Christ, has the responsibility of glorifying Him in untiring efforts seeking to make disciples of all nations by the preaching of the Word. ( 1:3-622-23I Cor. 12:12-14Mat. 28:19-20Acts 1:82:42-47)
